Talking about her role in this film, the actress said: "So far, my roles were of a village girl. But in Mr. Marumakan, I play a very modern character. That does not mean I have gone ultra modern. I play an arrogant and proud daughter who is back from Paris after finishing a course in fashion designing. It's a family entertainer peppered with comedy and romance."
Sanusha, who is currently pursuing her Plus Two, has also finished a Tamil film Parimala Thiraiarangam which will hit theatres for Deepavali.
