Siddharth apologizes to journalists

Tamil-Telugu actor Siddharth, who was facing a ban from the Film Newscasters' Association of Electronic Media (FNAEM) from June 2011 for making derogatory remarks about Telugu news channels on Twitter in response to their criticism against his film 180, has apologized through a social networking site.
"In reference to one of my tweets in the past regarding certain news channels My comment should have targeted only them for their actions but not their families. I understand that this has upset the journalistic fraternity & their families. As this was not my intention, I wish to apologize to the families of journalists for hurting their sentiments in any way. Thank you," he posted the apology on his Twitter account.
Irked by his remakes that "3rd grade ‘N’ews channels will sell their families to make up an hour of TV. Clarifying their garbage & lies is not worth our time. Ignore!", the media had decided to boycott the actor until he apologized.
