Thambi Ramaiah has no time to direct!

Now that he has become a busy actor, Thambi Ramaiah has decided not to focus on directing films. The 'Manuneedhi' and 'Indiralogathil Na Azhagappan' director says his directorial venture 'Oru Koodai Mutham' will hit the screens soon and from then on, he would concentrate on acting alone.
"I am currently part of films like Kumki, Saatai, Kazhugu, Vaagai Sooda Va, Osthi, Vettai, Rajapattai, Mannaru and other movies. Frankly speaking, I have no time to wield the megaphone," says Thambi Ramaiah, who won a national award for 'Mynaa'.
In 'Mannaru' directed by his associate Jaishankar, Thambi Ramaiah plays a crucial role, besides taking care of dialogues and lyrics departments. Appukutty of 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu' and 'Azhagarsamiyin Kudhirai' fame is the protagonist. "It is a different story," he says.
Thambi Ramaiah is the man behind some of the super hit comedy scenes of Vadivelu, as he worked close with the celebrated comedian. "Mynaa gave me a fresh lease of life as an actor. I should thank Prabhu Solomon for giving me such a meaty role," he concludes.
