Genelia to pair with Dhanush in 'Mareesan'?

Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that Genelia D' Souza will be paired opposite Dhanush in Chumbudevan's biggie, 'Mareesan' with UTV Motion Pictures. The film will be Dhanush�s biggest budget so far, of a whooping 30 crore.

Although nothing has been made official yet, Genelia, it seems is the first option for the female lead for the makers of 'Mareesan'. It may be mentioned that Dhanush and Genelia had earlier appeared in 'Uthamaputhiran' last year which faired.

Meanwhile Genelia apart from 'Velayudham' with Vijay in Tamil this Diwali, has her kitty full up north and Dhanush is busy with work on emotional drama '3' directed by his wife Aishwarya.

Rumour mills have it that she will be tying the knots to longtime beau Ritesh Deshmukh early next year so we can't be sure if she will be sure if she will finish this biggie before her wedding.

'Mareesan' is a period fantasy entertainer set in the 12th century with music by GV Prakash. The film will go on floors by the end of 2011.
