Shiva to work with Venkat Prabhu and Amudhan!

Shiva who has carved a niche for himself in the Tamil film industry, has five projects at hand. He will be reuniting with his Tamizh Padam director, CS Amudhan and Venkat Prabhu with whom he has worked with in Saroja and Chennai 600028. In addition to this, he has a Sundar C film and one with newcomer Aravind. Director Gnana Rajasekaran who made the National Award winning film, Bharathi is also doing a film with Shiva in the lead.
All these films are expected to release in 2012 and Shiva is hoping that they will all make an impact. He is confident about his films as they are all sure to entertain the audience, according to him.

Raja Pattai team spotted!

The Rajapattai team was spotted in a shooting spot near Ramachandra Medical College in Chennai. In the scene being filmed an ashram that looks after orphans is attacked by the baddies. And Vikram comes rushing to the rescue and bashes the villains to pulp.
Suseenthiran directed Rajapattai is touted to be a perfect entertainer that will showcase the versatility of both the director and the hero, Vikram. Deeksha Seth and Mithra Kurien are the lovely ladies in this film.

The truth about Indian 2

The rumor mills have been spinning like crazy about the sequel to Indian to be directed by Shankar and produced by AM Rathnam with none other than Ajith Kumar in the lead. AM Rathnam has given the scoop.
The producer said that when media reports surfaced, there had been no such project in the works. But despite themselves they could not help thinking that it would be a good idea and now they are really working on it to see if something pans out although nothing is confirmed yet. AM Rathnam has said that if Indian 2 does take off, the media deserves full credit.

Santhanam leads 30 comedians in Velayutham

Vijay starrer Velayutham has Santhanam handling the comedy department. But what is news now is that the film is going to be a complete laugh riot because there are 30 comedians in it with Santhanam leading the pack.
This detail was let out recently. Velayutham is gearing up for Diwali release. The film’s director Jayam Raja says that it will go in for Censor certification on 16^th or 17^th October and the release date will be announced officially after that.

Ajith meets fans

A few lucky Ajith fans had a chance to meet him in Goa, where the star is currently stationed for the Billa 2 shooting. The bunch of tourists says that they did not expect Ajith to be so cordial and he also offered them a cup of tea.
The star also spent about 15 minutes with his fans and obliged them by posing for photographs. This meeting will be cherished by the fans for their lifetime, for sure.

Harris puts up a winning show

Chennai hosted Harris Jeyaraj’s first stage show last Sunday. The event saw participation from huge number of Harris fans and his industry friends. Harris and his crew performed 24 songs and one of them was in 3D. The audience was supplied with 3D glasses for the same.
Directors AR Murugadoss, Gautham menon, AL Vijay, actor Srikanth and his wife, musicians Dharan, James Vasanthan and Madan Kargi attended the event showing their support to Harris. Harris’s singing crew included Krish, Andrea, Harish Ragavendar, Suchitra, Benny Dayal, Naresh Aiyer, Harini, Tippu, Haricharan, Sunita Sarathy, Rajesh Vaidya, Aalap Raj and Rahul Nambiar. Talking to the media outside the venue, Gautham Menon expressed pleasure to attend Harris’s first music concert.

So is it Vikram Vs Arya?

Lingusamy’s Vettai in which he is directing Arya is progressing at breakneck speed in and around Chennai. The cast and crew of this action flick, along with the director, were spotted near Chennai with Lingusamy calling the shots. With this, it’s also learnt that Vettai is gearing up for a year end, Christmas, release.
Vikram’s Rajapattai, in which he is seen challenging the likes of real estate mafia, is also likely to be released for Christmas. Rajapattai is directed by Suseenthiran and Deeksha Seth plays Vikram’s lead. Will Vikram and Arya be pitted against each other? We will know soon.

Sameera's fun marriage

Sameera Reddy has a very goofy sense of humor. Recently she posted a photo of herself in which she was seen all dolled up as a bride. And the groom was Madhavan. Her North Indian fans got all worked up and peppered her with questions about what exactly was happening.
