Enthralled by the grand reception toYuganiki Okkadu, the dubbed version of leading Kollywood actor Karthi's Selvaraghavan directedAayirathil Oruvan, which collected Rs. 2 crores within first 4 days of its release in about 93 centres in Andhra Pradesh, Karthi's relative and popular film personality Gnanavel Raja has decided to dub Karthi's debut filmParuthiveeran (2007) in Telugu as Palanti Veerudu.Incidentally, this movie, directed by Ameer, also won Priyamani the National award (Best Actress). Recently Karthi has finished dubbing (in Telugu) for the film in Chennai.Paruthiveeran was one of the biggest blockbusters in 2007, grossing around $14 million at the box office in its one year plus run in theatres.
