One of the pathbreakers of new Tamil cinema Pandiraj who shot to fame with the brilliant Pasanga, is now making Marina.
The film like his earlier film will explore the life and times of people who live of Marina beach, one of the biggest tourist spots in Chennai.
Pandiraj in an interview has said that the film will focus on “ a number of characters including children who visit Marina and others who live off it. All the characters will meld into the story which will be a breezy romantic comedy.”
Marina has television artist and VJ Sivakarthikeyan in the lead along with Kalavani fame Oviya.
Pandiraj is introducing 50 newcomers with this film, including its music director Girish, a disciple of Lalgudi Jayaraman.
