Hottie Mallika Sherawat has been signed up for an item number in Osthi. Incidentally, this film is the remake of the smash hit Hindi flick Dabangg and the song in question here is the most popular chartbuster Munni. Malaika Arora had done this item number in the original version and for Osthi it will be Mallika Sherawat. Silambarasan and Mallika will shake their legs to the tunes set by Thaman. Mallika is not new to the Kollywood audiences as she has done a short negative role in the Kamal Haasan starrer Dasavatharam and an item number in the Mani Rathnam directed Guru.
