Young sensation Saicharan emerged as the winner of Airtel Super Singer 2011 on Friday. Viewers of Tamil Nadu got to vote for the most deserving singer through SMS and online voting for the past week two weeks and in the end, three most deserving singers – Sathya Prakash, Pooja, Sai Charan and Santhosh got the unique opportunity to sing before thousands of live audience for the grand finale. The victory of these singers was judged by the votes of the viewers.Legendary music composer M.S. Viswanathan, music director G.V. Prakash, singers Mano, Unni Menon, Sriram Parthasarathy, Malgudi Suba, Pushpavanam Kuppusamy actor Dhanush, director Selvaragavan and many others graced the occasion. The winner was awarded prize money of Rs. 40 lakhs.
