Vikram will be the first Indian star to have a mobile application on iPhone, iPad, Android and Windows platforms. Interestingly, Mahesh Babu, Tollywood star was the only actor to have had a mobile application and that too only in the iPhone.Vikram has won five FilmFare awards, one National award and Tamil Nadu State Film award. He was also honored with the Honorary Doctorate by People's University of Milan this year. The star is also associated with various social welfare activities. He is the Brand ambassador of Sanjeevani Trust and the Brand ambassador of Vidya Sudha, a school for special children. Vikram also appeared as the Youth Envoy for the United Nations Human Settlements Programme in 2011.
