The Audi RITZ Icon Awards 2011 was held last evening (Sunday, September 25
th, 2011) at The Hilton, Chennai. Film star Vikram, Dadasaheb Phalke award-winning director K Balachander, fashion designer Anamika Khanna, director AL Vijay, visually challenged chess player ST Saikrishna, artist Anjali Srinivasan, flautist Navin Iyer were honored with awards this year at the function.
Ashvin Mathew’s stand-up comedy was the highlight of the event as he had the audiences’ attention with his hilarity.
It may be mentioned here that director Selvaraghavan, music director GV Prakash, Dhayanidhi Alagiri, Soundarya Rajinikanth, Shruti Haasan, Chinmayi were honored with the awards in the previous years.
