The Festival of Lights this year is important for Selvaraghavan for two reasons. One is that it is his Thala Diwali as he entered wedlock with Gitanjali just months ago, and the other is that his directorial venture 'Mayakkam Enna' would hit the screens on that day.
Circles close to him say, "Selva's family is known for celebrating festivals in a great way. Even now Navarathri is being celebrated with a grand kolu in Dhanush's house. So all the members of Kasthuriraja family would come together under one roof this Diwali."
In the meantime, plans are on to get as many theatres as possible for 'Mayakkam Enna', as the Diwali race is going to be more racy, thanks to a tough competition between films of top stars like Vijay, Suriya and Dhanush.
"Both Selva and Dhanush are happy that they had come together for Mayakkam Enna after a long gap. An interesting love story narrated in Selva's own style, the film would act as a trendsetter in Tamil cinema," sources say.
