Now that his wait for 'Vedi' is over, Vishal is ready to start his next, titled 'Samaran'. The film will be directed by Thiru, who had earlier worked with the actor in 'Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai'.
Trisha will play Vishal's heroine for the first time and the shooting for 'Samaran' is expected to start by the third week of this month. "In fact, Vishal and Trisha were to come together in Thamirabharani himself, but couldn't. They are finally sharing the screen space now," say sources.
Happy about working with Trisha, Vishal says, "We are very good friends, though we had not acted together. We hang out with the same bunch of friends. But I don't know how we would gel well as colleagues. I am eagerly looking forward to it."
Vishal's last 'Vedi', directed by Prabhudeva, hit the screens Friday last. "I have been getting good feedback for the film. Box office reports say the opening was good and I should thank Sun Pictures for that. I hope the good show continues in the coming weeks."
